Pic above: The tempature is quite humid and cold with some wind blow...nice

pic above : everyone is waiting for other riders to reach at the peak and give them applause

It was raining sunday morning...the weather is cloudy and freezing cold when we reach at the Gunung Jerai (Kedah) mountain foothill. There were 2 teams came for the ride, SP MTB and Penang KT Cycletron team. However due to the continuous rain, the KT Cycletron teams had changed their mind not to go for a ride for fearing any untoward incidents and unforseen circumstances. Well our SP MTB team's spirit is high and we gave green light to go ahead despite raining had slowing down. The weather is cold and windy too. We started to cycle and I could felt my both legs was heavy and tired cause I stop cycling for 2 years back. The last time ride to Gunung Jerai was a huge mistake and embarassing moment when I only able to climb for only 200 meters and stop due to excessive eating and drinking a night before. This time despite tiring but my will and spirit is very high. I almost wanted to call it quit when I reach 4th Km check point. But my heart and will keep pushing me to go ahead and I don't want to be call useless if i able to stop. I took my bike and swing into action. I kept peddling slowly and pain stakingly. It was mental torturing seeing the road infront kept going up like never end. Seeing this I try to comfort my self " YOU CAN DO IT !" and I started to change my focus to see left and right, like trying to enjoy the green scenery. Slowly I reached at the 8th KM check point and I could see many riders made a stop at the resting hut for some short rest. I continued my ride and it really gave me confident and I pushed myself to the maximum limit. I kept going until I reached at the museum and I felt relieved caused I knew it was almost end there. I could see many riders started to push their bike up because the road is getting steeper and steeper. I kept cycling slowly and phase by phase. Finally I REACHED at the PEAK!! The joy, the pain, the tiredness, the heart thumbing and continous breathing, Crowd cheerings and so on.... it was a very joyfull moment and victorous moment for me to conquer the peak.
On the top, everybody were enjoying their nasi lemak meal and photoshots. Then we continue our downhill ride. It only took us 15 minutes to reached at the foothill....success! Bravo to all my fellow friends....

Puteri Hill estate terrain is awesome

Yesterday went for a mountain bike ride catered for marshalls who did not take part in the event last week. It was tiring and adrenaline rushing terrain. The riders comprises 18 people with 1 female rider. The terrain was awesome and fanstastic. 2 of the riders fall from their mountain bike after negotiating some sharp turns during downhill time. Start from 8am and end at 11pm. What a tiring !!!

Disaster Strike

An eighteen-wheeler was on his way to town and the container box snapped the electric cable. It dragged for hundred metres before halting. It was already too late as it already broke 2 electric poles. One of the pole fell and hit to the car parking at the side. Luckily no one was hurt. I really angry with the TENAGA people regarding about the cable that hang very low across the road and they just turn a deaf ear. The driver of the wheeler had runaway upon seeing this massive mess that he had made. I feel bad for the owner of this car.

PUTERI HILL PARK JAMBOREE

It was really an awesome event. Comprising 400 cyclists all over peninsular Malaysia and some foreigners too. The event succesfully organised by MCA Taman Mewah, SP MTB, KT CYCLETRON (PG) and OSK housing development as the main sponsor at Bandar Puteri Jaya Hill Park. The massive thunderstorm and heavy rain did not turn down all the cyclists instead they vowed to complete the race. There were 6 check points together covered 45KM with very rough and muddy terrains. However there were few bicycle related injury and some of the cyclists didn't able to complete the race. It was a tough race. I was stationed at the checkpoint 4 and I noticed that many cyclists had their brake-pad completely worn out due to the excessived heavy braking. However everything ended smoothly and sucessful.

Grand Uncle Funeral

It was a cloudy and tearful afternoon for my beloved grand uncle's funeral. He was a joyful man and the best buddy I could ever had. He left us peacefully and returned to the Lord. He will be remembered always.

Notorious mouse

Finally this notorious mouse that roaming my entire house ceiling and causing havoc at night is caught! This mouse was a smart mouse and not an easy catched. The trap was set with delicious and tasty dry squid for 2 days and 2 nights. During the period I found him running here and there on top of the ceiling sort of like challenging us to catch him. Finally the temptation for delicious food was finally over, we caught him! ha ha. Well this is the end of his life as a notorious mouse.....
